1. Install through the Shopify App Store

Steps:

1. Log in to the Shopify App Store.
2. Find the ESTS Discount Code app to install, and then click it.
3. On the app listing page, click Add app.
4. In your Shopify admin, to authorize the use of the app, click Install app.
5. After that, a billing page will open. You have to purchase the plan first to open the app, and click on approve to purchase the plan.
   

2.  After the app is installed, you can view and use it from the Apps page in your Shopify admin.

3. First of all, you have to do the following steps to show discounts on the cart page.

1. Go to the "App" section.
2. Open the "ESTS Discount Code".
3. Your app has now been opened.
4. Now go to the "settings" tab.
5. Then fill in the given fields like App Status, Select Background Image, Background Popup Color, and Discount Button Color.
6. Finally, click on the "Submit" button.

4. Now, to activate your app on the front, you need to perform the following steps. This procedure is only for the first time when you install the app.

Click on the “Customize“ option.

5. Now, click on “Home page” and select the “Cart” option as highlighted in the screenshot below.

6. Now, click on “Add block” and select the “Discount Code” app as highlighted in the screenshot below.

7. You can drag the app position and place it wherever

You want as highlighted in the screenshot below. After that, click on the “Save” button, which is placed in the top right corner of the screen.

8. Finally, the “Discount Code” app is set up

The app button will start appearing on the cart page, but the discount button will appear on the cart page only when the customer is logged in. If the customer is not logged in, then the discount button will not appear.

9. Now, as soon as the user clicks on the discount button,

A pop-up will open, and the customer can select the discount and click on the add button. As soon as the customer clicks on the add button, they will be redirected to the checkout page, and the selected discount will be automatically applied.

But if the customer is not eligible for the selected discount, then on clicking the add button, he will be redirected to the checkout page, but the discount will not be applied to his order.
