This app is created by ESTS (Expound Coderz Private Limited). As its name suggests, this app is especially developed for blog lovers. In the absence of this app, if we create a blog and an article, especially if this article is related to the product of our store. Then we cannot tell the product from this article. In this case, it's quite difficult to identify which article is written for which product, especially when we are talking about more than one product from a huge list of products. This app relates the product and the article to each other. And it provides a little bit of but sufficient information about the product on the blog's article page.

Section-1 Setup Instructions.

Let's get started by following this guide.

1. Install through the Shopify App Store

Steps:

• Log in to the Shopify App Store.

• Find the Blog product limelight app to install, and then click it.

• On the app listing page, click Add app.

• In your Shopify admin, to authorise the use of the app, click Install app.

2. After the app is installed, you can view and use it from the Apps page in your Shopify admin.

• From your Shopify admin, go to Apps.

• Click the name of the Blog Product Limelight app to open.

As you click the name of the app, Blog product limelight opens. It will look like this.

You have completed the app Installation and setup process.

3. How to use the Blog product Limelight app?

At present, there is a default blog to view named "News", hence it displays “News”.When you create more blogs and their articles, you can see all your blogs with articles here. So now create your blogs and articles in shopify, they will be shown here.

For example, we have created a few blogs.

• Jewellery Blog

• Shoes

• Shoes Blog

The above blogs will look like this in our app.

4. Now create some articles in the above-created blogs

To explain with an example, we have created a few articles.

5. When you open the Blog product limelight app, it will automatically show all the blogs available in your current store.

Here we are adding a product in the blog whose name is Jewellery Blog, and inside Jewellery Blog, there are 4 articles. Now we are adding an article whose name is Necklace

To do this, follow the steps given below.

• Click on Jewellery Blog. (As the above image is highlighting.)

• Click on edit the article Necklace. (As the above image is highlighting.)

When you click on Edit, a new page will open and it will look like this.

1. Here you can see the title of the current article.
2. Then you can see the creation date of the article.
3. The next line provides information about your products.

First of all, it will tell you the total number of products available in your store. Here we have imported 2 products, so the counting is available here as 2 with your current store name. Here, my store name is Estsvarient.

Below that, A brief detail of your product is shown here. Here you can see all the products of your store. If there is no product in your store, then no product will be shown here. But to use our app, there must be at least one product and at least one blog and article in your store.

As you can see before the image of the product, there is a checkbox available. All products have their checkbox, now check the checkbox that you want to show on the article page of shopify. If you want to check all products, then there is a checkbox available in the top left corner with the name "Select all".If you check this checkbox, then it will select all the products available on the current page.

Now, in the end, click on the "save" button. After clicking on it, you can check that the product selected by you is visible on the article page.

7. How to update the product?

Updation is necessary when you want to add more products to the desired article or remove a selected product from the article page.

To do so, just click on the edit button of the article. When you click on the edit button, the following type of screen will open. See the image below.

You can see in the above image that the first product is already selected. It's because we have checked this product before the update. Now change the product or select more products, whatever you want to do, then again click on "save".Your data will be updated successfully.

8. How to display the product on the article page at the current theme?

Now, first of all, click on Themes and then click on Customise as highlighted in the picture below.

Now select Blog posts from the drop-down as highlighted in the picture below.

Now select the Default blog post from the drop-down as highlighted in the picture below.

Before going ahead, please make sure you have added at least 1 product with a "default" blog article. If you have not done so, we request that you attach a product with the default article, then come back here. Otherwise, the product will not display at the next step even if you select the app.

Now click on the Add block option, then select ESTS-BLOG-APP from the app section as shown in the below picture.

Now, click on our app name. When you click on the app name, you can see the selected product on the right side of the screen as highlighted in the pic below. Here we have attached the saree product with this article, so it is displaying here. If you have not selected any product with the default article, then you can not see any image here at this time, but your app will be successfully activated on the current theme by this process.
